Personal Training In Your Own Home: How It Works

Every person has a different reason to train. If you’re considering using a personal trainer then you probably already have a specific goal in mind. Whether it’s losing weight, gaining muscle definition or training for an event it is important for us to talk and work out a suitable program and schedule.

Choose Your Schedule and Location

The great thing about personal training in your own home is that you choose your own schedule. No waiting for machines at the gym, no getting stuck in traffic, just one hour dedicated to you. All you will need to do is provide the space (anywhere in South Bali, preferably air con or outside in the shade) and we will provide the rest. To receive the most benefit we would recommend 2 – 3 sessions a week. You can choose any time that suits you between 7am (Canggu/Seminyak can do earlier if needed) and 6pm.

See The Results

At the start of your first session we will take your measurements and then again every 4 weeks. At each of these intervals we will give you a report of your progress so that you can see exactly where that hard work has gone and we can re adjust your training/diet to suit. Training with a personal trainer 2-3 times a week and following our nutritional advice we would definitely expect you to notice a vast difference within the first month.

Types Of Training That We Offer

Resistance Training

Resistance training works to increase your  muscle strength and endurance using weights, resistance bands or your own body weight. Resistance training can provide significant functional benefits for your day to day life and can lead to a great improvement in your overall health and well-being. Resistance workouts even elevate your metabolism for several hours following the workout, which also promotes fat loss.

Suspension Training - TRX

Suspension training with the TRX develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. Working out with the TRX is a great way to develop integrated  overall body strength, especially through your core. Over time, Imbalances in your body can lead to overuse and injury, the TRX is a great tool to highlight any inequalities and will help you to conquer these imbalances.

Flexibility Training

Flexibility training is not just for gymnastics and yogis, stretching is often overlooked as part of your routine exercise program. Stretching to increase your range of motion requires concentration, patience and consistency. Lack of mobility can hold you back from reaching your potential and without a full range of motion your fundamental movement can be hindered.

Rehabilitation Training

Rehabilitating an injury is a delicate procedure which is why we work in conjunction with a Western trained and qualified Physiotherapist based in Bali. Together we can come up with a program specifically designed to improve the injured area.

All prices are based on 1 hour personal training sessions in Canggu, Kerobokan, Seminyak, Kuta areas. Training in areas such as Sanur or Jimbaran can be arranged but may incur a surcharge. Please contact us for further details.
